The Bright Stars Academy Retreat is inclusive and welcoming to people from all cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds and is LGBTQ+ affirmative. Everyone is welcome and loved here!
Another Great Question! Although we would love to have more, we can only accept 10 participants in this all-inclusive interactive retreat.
This will allow us to connect on a deeper level and build strong relationships that will last a lifetime.
We ask all of our participants and facilitators to have adequate personal travel insurance in place for The Bright Stars Retreat. You never know when something might happen, and we strongly recommend purchasing insurance.
If you need recommendations, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask us direct. QUESTIONS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!
Of course you can, especially if you have a great attitude, are ready to have fun, and create!
Your host, Shannon Scott, had an Uncle who was wheelchair bound (look to the photo on the left or up above if your looking on a mobile device – Uncle Joe is the cool cat in yellow). Shannon always loved to find a way to include him in everything she did, and she will do the same for you too!
When you sign up for this Retreat, you become family. Which means Shannon will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best time and can create with all of the other participants during the event.

This Retreat is designed to jumpstart your career as an actor, and everyone will be counting on each other for scene studies, filming days, group building activities and more.
We don’t only want you there with us every step of the way, but we will need you too!
Shannon will be sending you a list of what you should bring when you commit to attend the Retreat!
Your stay is going to be in a beautiful Villa in Ormond Beach Florida.
Built on the banks of Tomoka River, this 11-acre estate is the perfect location to wind down, connect with your inner self and create the perfect short film to add to your resume!
Did we mention there is a spa, heated pool and the Tomoka River – where we will be able to explore with kayaks, paddle boards and canoes?
